My wife and I joined Alex and crew for a week to hunt fall bears. The accommodations were perfect. Everything we needed was in the cabin waiting for our arrival. Meals were taken at the main house and included traditional breakfasts, great lunches and fantastic dinners. My wife is gluten free. The hosts were very attentive to her diet. Our spare time was spent sitting in tree stands and sorting through bears. We sat on (4) different stands on 7 different nights, according to wind, and I passed on 7 or 8 bears before I finally took an old dry sow the last day. I several bigger bears but I wanted the experience. I would 100% endorse this hunt for anyone looking to see and take bears. Lots of options, lots of stands and lots of bears. The guides and Family know what they are doing and will not hesitate to provide the best of experiences.

Over the last several decades I have hunted in many Canadian provinces, but when I found Davis Point seventeen years ago I will be going back for my sixteenth time. Need I say more. Alex and his guides are first rate and will do whatever it takes to put you on a good hunt. Nice cabins, good food and most of all a great hunting area in the interlake region of Manitoba. In the years I have been there I have witnessed deer in the 150 to 190 class harvested, you just have to be in the right spot at the right time. You never know what might step out of the bush.
